You are expected to wear professional attire.  While you do not need to wear a suit, you should look professional.  Also, make sure your cell phone is silent.  Lastly, you will be going through a metal detector when you enter the building. 

How many Dallas County Probate Courts are there?

There are officially three probate courts.  Judge Brenda Hull Thompson is the judge of the Dallas County Probate Court No. 1.  Judge Ingrid M. Warren is the probate judge for Dallas County Probate Court 2.  Judge Margaret Jones-Johnson is the probate judge for Dallas County Probate Court 3. Note that the courts also have assistance from associate judges.

How do I look up a Dallas County Probate Case?

This link will take you to Dallas County’s website for court records.  From there you can either click on “Smart Search” to search for court records or click on “Search Hearings” to find when a specific case is set on the docket to appear before the judge.  You can enter the deceased’s name and other information to view the case history and upcoming court dates.
