Richardson Estate Planning and Probate Attorney C. Hope Sumrow

More About Hope Sumrow:

Hope Sumrow is the type of attorney who enjoys evaluating a client’s case and unraveling the issues to get to a resolution. For her, it’s like solving a puzzle — assessing each piece and seeing how it works with the other pieces to reveal the solution.

Hope practices Texas estate planning, trust litigation, estate litigation, will contests, guardianship, and other related matters.  Hope’s litigation background means she excels in lawsuits, but it also makes her an effective estate planner

Prior to joining the estate planning and probate attorneys at Shutt Law Firm, PLLC, Hope served as litigation counsel for another law firm in Texas.  Hope previously interned with the Dallas office of the Federal Public Defender: Capital Habeas Unit, clerked for the Honorable Judge Timothy Schutz in the Fourth Judicial District of Colorado and interned at Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas. Those experiences allowed her to conduct extensive legal research and participate in client interviews and meetings between attorneys and internal stakeholders, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the application of the law before even receiving her license.

That deep understanding of the law, coupled with her ability to critically analyze everything in a brief, allows her to find sometimes unconventional ways to solve an issue. She knows the puzzle doesn’t have the same solution for every case, and that makes her a formidable ally for her clients.
